How real estate companies can have fun with their marketing campaigns

The challenge? A Chicago real estate company wanted to talk directly to clients thinking about investing in rental property.

We knew we wanted to use an alternative story form. And at first we thought about using a personality quiz. A: You're a natural Mr. Roper. B. Let's hone those real estate chops some more. Then we came across this photo of Norman Fell — and we were inspired...

What we like most about this post is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. A real estate company can literally write a book about investment properties. But they'd be writing it for other brokers, not potential clients. It's important to think of this type of marketing as introductory — it's supposed to get people through the door — not as the final punctuation mark on any one topic.
